The Sheepskin Company is based in the Lake District, in the centre of the area's traditional sheep country. We are proud to continue the traditions of the Lake District and Somerset, supplying sheepskin rugs and other sheepskin or leather products mainly sourced from the West of England where records of tanners and leather workers have been found dating back to 1327 AD. In the 1800s there was a huge local industry manufacturing gloves, clothing and small leather and sheepskin goods in this area. The Sheepskin Company is now one of the largest suppliers of sheepskin products in the UK. Our range of sheepskin rugs, hats, gloves, footwear, sheepskin and leather accessories is both traditional, but with a contemporary twist.
